About Giuggiola
Giuggiola is an organic family farm born in 1995, with the cultivation of olive trees for the production of Extra Virgin Olive Biological Oil. Organic means a cultivation method that uses only natural fertilizers and disinfectants. The method includes the choice of controlled soil for the cultivation of the plants. The olive trees of the Giuggiola grow on stony soil at an altitude of around 500 meters in the Tuscany hills between Arezzo and Siena, in the small town of San Pancrazio. The olive trees of the Giuggiola are a mix of a variety of olive trees: leccino‚ pendolino‚ moraiolo e frantoio. This territory, full of culinary traditions, has many peculiarities: the altitude, the kind of soil from which the oil is born, the countryside away from the city centers. All these qualities allow trees to produce an extra virgin olive biological oil of excellent quality.

Quality Control, Organic Certification and Traceability
The quality control in an organic farm is a legal requirement, and it is carried out by an independent institution. The Organic Certification is the result of that control. Giuggiola is controlled and certified by the Association Suolo e Salute Srl.
